Indian Locomotive Captured in 1965 War was Renumbered from 3773 to 4621 And it was 2600HP Locomotive IR was well ahead from Pak Rail in 1965
It was Called Indra Gandhi Unit by the worker of Pakistan Railways.Its whistle was very sweet and I have saw many times this locomotive in Jahanian working with goods trains.But i dont know this fact that it was IR Locomotive.Its Whisle was totaly different from ather ALU-24 Units
In 1999 to 2001 this was refurbished and given new look with new serial number which is RGE-24 5 2 2 1 which is still in working

ایران سے کوئٹہ آنے والی مال بردار ٹرین توزگی کے مقام پر حادثے کا شکار ہوگئی۔ ریلوے ٹریک متاثر ہونے سے پاک ایران ریلوے سروس معطل ہوگئی۔
ایران سے کوئٹہ آنیوالی مال بردار ٹرین گزشتہ شب نوکنڈی کے قریب توزگی کے مقام پر حادثے کا شکار ہوئی۔
ریلوے حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ ابتدائی طور پر جو اطلاعات سامنے آئیں اس کے مطابق ریلوے ٹریک کو رات کی تاریکی میں کاٹ دیا گیا تھا۔
ٹرین حادثے سے متعلق ریلوے حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ تخریب کاری کا بھی خدشہ ہے۔
حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ مال بردار ٹرین گندھک سے لوڈ تھی، ٹرین حادثے کی وجہ سے پاک ایران ٹرین سروس معطل ہو گئی ہے۔
ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ ریلیف ٹرین کوئٹہ سے روانہ ہوگئی ہے۔ آخری اطلاع آنے تک بحالی کا کام تاحال شروع نہ ہوسکا تھا۔
