"Ojos Verdes" is a poetic snapshot of the complexities and beauty of love. Inspired by a poignant trip to Paris during the global pandemic, it intertwines emotions experienced during this surreal time while earnestly playing with cliches over the romantic and referential aspect of the theme.

Amarla ~ written on Mar Azul, December 2019. Brought it back, across the pond to Siebren. We recorded it during Summer 2020. The first lockdown. The first song Sara sang and the first song Gabi played. It stayed in a hard drive for a year and mixed it for another in our first flat with David. The first show with the band, The first song of the night, my guitar didn’t feel like coming out of the speaker. Iñigo filmed and Masaki danced.

It was a tricky one to get done in the middle of Covid and the first time I properly filmed and recorded a Live Performance. It was daunting and exciting to do it in my and David Ko home.
The songs that we played were all written during the first lockdown in March 2020. A period of reflection and self-development.
