What is fair use?
Fair use allows limited use of copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder for purposes such as criticism, parody, news reporting, research and scholarship, and teaching. There are four factors to consider when determining whether your use is a fair one.
The purpose and character of the use:
Use is non-commercial, for personal record/curriculum vitae purposes only.
The nature of the copyrighted work - is edited examples of visual/audio content in which I appear/perform.
The amount of the work used in relation to the copyrighted work is generally small; where possible the extract is solely of my appearance/performance
The effect of the use upon the potential market for the copyrighted work, is minimal to none and there is no denigration or bringing into disrepute, this is a personal record only.
