I'm Heather Maxwell, ethnomusicologist and specialist of African Music with over 30 years experience. I host and produce the Voice of America' radio program Music Time in Africa plus am TV Entertainment host on VOA's Africa 54, and I also produce lots of short stories and features exclusively for this Channel.
I travel to Africa a lot and each time I go, it's to meet musicians, get new music, and share what I find with you!
