I had a LOT of requests to review the @EvenRealities smart glasses, so I put in an order. They immediately took my cash.
A week later, and there's no update at all on order progress. Nothing. No estimates.
Reached out to their customer service, and there's apparently no way for them to see an estimated processing, shipping, or delivery date. Just NOTHING they can do, but they're SO happy I'm supporting a start up!
How long do I let this sit?
It's these kinds of things. I REALLY want to be supporting more start ups, and crowd funding, and smaller projects, but if you take my cash, you better have a timeline for your product reaching me.
Or just call this a pre-order and let me leave a deposit for my place in line.
Asking folks to just sit out $700 for some glasses, and they'll get to me "whenever I guess" is a terrible way to kick off a customer relationship.
