Welcome to our channel The amateur Allotment! We are a husband and wife team based in the Isle Of Man who got frustrated with the rising costs of veg and took the bold step to take on an allotment and attempt to grow our own. We are by no means experts or share professional advice but these vlogs are our allotment diaries and we want to share our journey with what we grow, problems we face and the enjoyment we personally get from it.

We are definitely amateurs and don't really have a clue what we are doing but we have great passion for it and welcome any ideas you may have for us to try. We've had many successes and failures but we're learning as we go and have lots of fun too so if we can do it anyone can, why not give it a try?
