π§ Psychodynamic Books I Read in July (new podcast only episode!)
A new podcast only episode just dropped π If you are looking for your next favourite psychodynamic read, you'll want to get all the details about the *four* very different books I read last month.
I will introduce you to books you haven't heard about before, secret classics, and where to find new interesting concepts to better understand your patients.
Plus, don't miss the opportunity to get my new free resource "The Psychodynamic Library" by signing up to my newsletter at psychodynamicpsychology.com/newsletter (you can hear all about it on the podcast)
Listen in on:

Best wishes,

PS: Yes, lots of my old videos are gone... I just was not proud of them anymore. I'm working on new summary videos about my best Alfred Adler and Karen Horney content. But it'll take some time. In the meantime, sign up for my newsletter to stay in touch.

If you're a psychotherapist (in training) you know you need to read more.
But finding and reading good psychodynamic books can be hard.
Either you never know what to read.
Or you have no accountability to actually read all those psychodynamic books that pile up on your nightstand, so you just add oooooone more.
Whether you are team #uninspired or #overwhelmed, a book club might be a good solution for both.
In my psychodynamic book club, we choose something new to read every month (every can suggest books and we vote) and meet usually on the last Sunday of the month to discuss.
This has easily become one of my favourite things to do online.
Take a look at it here to see if you are a fit: patreon.com/PsychodynamicPsychology
Best wishes,
Alina

I made a pinky-promise that I'd be back with our very own first psychodynamic case study aaaand HERE IT IS!! π
"Psychoanalyzing Dwight Schrute" our *favourite* The Office character.
π But wait there's more.... you can listen to it so far ONLY on my newest experiment: The Psychodynamic Psychology Podcast! ποΈ
(Some people told me they like my voice, so I thought why not?)
You definitely have to listen to it! I think it's hilarious AND you learn a few very interesting psychodynamic concepts while being entertained. Freud and Margharitas, anyone? ππΌββοΈ
PS: The video version is coming sometime soon π I just moved houses and don't have a video background yet by a long shot...
