BEANIES, I HAVE A BIG LIFE UPDATE. I got engaged!!! πππ₯Ή After seeing so many engagement videos and stories, I never really took a moment to imagine how that would be like for me. But in truly the most Pacific Northwest fashion, my best friend for life popped the question while we were on a hike in front of a beautiful waterfall! I was caught completely by surprise since I thought there was no way he had gotten a ring yet, but he confessed that he had been holding on to it for an entire YEAR?! I'm still in shock, but in the best way π I can't believe I can say that I'm now...a FIANCΓ! βΊοΈ

Hi beanies,
With the ongoing humanitarian crimes happening around the world in Rafah, Congo, and more, my heart and mind have been heavy with horror and sadness. I haven't been able to bring myself to upload new content lately because a part of me feels wrong to share my life when there's so many suffering.
I apologize if you've been waiting for new videos, though I hope you can understand. I will be taking a break the rest of this week and will do my best to resume after. Thank you so much for being here. Let's continue to help our fellow human beanies who are in need. ππ€

Dear beanies,
While my content is typically light-hearted and fun, I feel it is my responsibility as someone who was given the opportunity to have a voice as a small content creator, to speak out about what is happening today.
Currently, 1.4 million Palestinians are trapped in Rafah - half of which are children. We are witnessing children having their names written on their arms in case they fall victim to bombs and their families must find their bodies. We are witnessing mothers who come back from fetching food to finding their entire families being trapped under rubble. We are witnessing an intentional and inhumane deprivation of food, water, and basic essentials. We are witnessing a genocide.
While we may be strangers on the internet separated by thousands of miles of land and sea, we hold a single common ground. Our humanity. If you have been afraid to look outside of your bubble (just as I have been) because the world can be a dark and scary place, I encourage you to please take at least a moment to read, listen, and make a small step to help those who are unjustly suffering.
The photo below is by a grassroots movement called Operation Olive Branch, which aims to support and amplify aid requests of Palestinian families. Operation Olive Branch has made an ongoing spreadsheet of over 800 Palestinian families with fundraiser links and specific need requests that you can donate towards. If you are unable to donate, I encourage you to be courageous by choosing to learn and share about what is happening.
Humanity is beautiful when we stand together. π
