Established in 1992, Thrangu Phende Clinic was founded by Very Venerable Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche to provide the basic health services to the monks of Thrangu Tashi Yangtse monastery at Namobuddha but seeing its need and importance, it was soon made accessible to the general public. Since then, it has served everyone with basic health care, running awareness program and assisting in emergency health cases.
