The Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra was found in 2011 by a group of Amsterdam musicians who shared a deep desire to present the rich currents of Andalusian music. The orchestra has performed in prestigious venues in The Netherlands, Belgium and Morocco, and has worked - amongst others - with some of Morocco's top international musicians. In addition to playing music, the orchestra produces musical theatre performances and is the initiator of the Ud Festival of The Netherlands.
