I’m sorry for being inactive but its not out of disinterest or boredom. I kinda fear sharing things unrelated to this channel but people ask me on other platforms what im doing and how my progress on things are so I figured I give a brief explanation.
First of all, I gotta say if you told 2020 me what id be doing now i wouldn't believe you. This channel is still one of my proudest achievements and it led me to learning so many new skills and meeting new people. I cannot thank everyone who has supported me over this time enough and it feels bad not keeping up making content. Ive been in school for 3d and CGI for the past 2 years assignments and commissions have taken up my time. I’ve also picked up a weekend job. This isnt all bad new though, as ill be wrapping up my studies in about a year and hopefully will be working a good enough job to where I can spend my free time on my lifelong passion of content creation. A lot of my videos either dont make money or dont do well in views. Not that its important to me to succeed but my mortal body requires income to spend months making meme videos.
Doge Noir is my biggest project and working with Richard has really changed me. Its been more than a year since his passing and while dog videos are silly, unexpectedly losing someone like that isnt. I’ve been really hesitant to work with doge because of this association, but I know ill come back to it eventually.
Regarding the movie, 100% of the Patreon money has gone to paying voice actors and buying assets. I can probably pay the rest out of my pocket but I am STILL missing a voice for Arizona Ranger. He’s essentially the main character so I will try to find a professional once I get back in the groove.
TLDR I am not quitting I never will. I have content planned and everything including finishing the movie I just need time right now to focus on my career and mental health for the next couple of semesters. Thank you everyone for sticking around it means the world to me. I hope I can make everyone proud.

Also, I was considering making a short animation of a copypasta. Im on the fence if I should upload it as a short or a normal video. Should I keep the normal aspect ratio or surrender to the youtube shorts gods and make it phone resolution

I need a new voice actor for the Arizona Ranger, I've reopened the page for voice acting submissions. His role is the only paid one right now, but there are also 7 small roles you can apply for if you missed the previous deadline. Arizona Ranger is basically the second main character of the movie so Its hard for me to continue without one.

The writer of doge noir, and the voice actor of Ricky is no longer with us. His passing was a massive shock for me. I've really never felt anything like this. I might not have not been very close to him but we did work closely for at least 8 months to make doge noir. I have never been so proud to work with someone. He's a very important person in dogelore storytelling. He is someone who has inspired me and made me who I am today. I’m grateful I was able to bring his story to a new audience. I've always been proud of doge noir as a goofy video but now I see way differently. That video was written by a genuine person who just wanted to tell stories and make people smile through an uncharacteristic medium. While he always denied it, I believe doge noir is a genius concept. Its a commentary on taking inherently absurd stories too seriously. That project really helped me understand myself as an artist and it wouldn't be possible without him. He really was a talented person and I wish I could have done more with him. I will never forget him and I will continue to build upon his vision. Goodbye, and thank you, Richard.

A dogelore game would go so hard. The silence wench video could easily be adapted into a souls like. I'm surprised nobody has ever done something like that. Too bad my brain is too small to understand code. I guess if you're a game dev contact me lol.

I've been feeling pretty discouraged recently because of doge noir underproforming in views pretty hard. Considering im making an hour long movie in the same format im pretty worried itll happen again. I'm not sure if I should focus on smaller projects to please the funny algorithm and finish the movie when theres more eyes on my channel or just keep working on for a while. I have so many other ideas and to put them aside to make a movie that might not do well kinda puts me off.

Glad you guys like the new video! I'm still working on the western movie but its still going to take a long time. I want to make more stories in the meantime so I don't go a year without uploading lol. Any theme or setting you guys would be interested in? I was considering making a sequel to the silence wench video but it might be better to try something new.
