I'm very scared to post my Soldier Poet King video. It's not done yet, but I've already invested so much time and effort in it, and I still have some hours of work to go... I'm very proud of what I did so far and I know I'll love the end result (for once).
It's gonna break my heart when it will go mostly unnoticed :(

I think I'm in need for some good animation memes to make. It's been a while since I've made any (well there's the Soldier Poet King project but it's a bit long to produce) and I'm missing that "funny short animation I can finish in a few days" vibe.
I've been watching animation memes recently in the hopes to find one I'll want to do, and I'll be honest, none of them appealed to me. The audio is what lacks the most I feel like, they just don't feel like animation meme musics anymore. Maybe that's because I've been out of this universe for several years. When I left, trending animation memes were Forget, Copycat, I do love you, All around the world, stuff like that. I kinda miss that era. I feel like now most audios all sound the same and are just not as "I'm now stuck in your head for days" as before.
Maybe I should resort to creating my own memes, but I'm always scared they'll never be redone by anyone. If a meme has only been done by one person, can you really call it a meme?

I'm done with all the frame per frame animations for my Soldier Poet King video, finally! Now I need to make all the illustrations & do the video editing. It's honestly scaring the sh*t out of me lol.
And now that I'm looking back at certain animations, I feel like they might not be good enough... Ugh.

So, I've been making no progress on my animation recently. If you follow my other social medias, you may already know that the first (and only) cat I've ever adopted myself passed away three weeks ago. She wasn't really old, we don't know for sure what killed her, but we're suspecting a heart attack or something similar. We can only hope that she's in a better place now, and we're been slowly grieving since. For all this time I've only been able to work on paid work, but I've completely given up on my personal projects, I think you can guess why. I'm slowly starting to feel better, and today I picked up Soldier Poet King again. I've made a good amount of progress, especially considering I'm only just starting to work on personal stuff again, and I'm hoping I'll be able to keep going like that. I'm sorry for the delay of this animation, I wish I could be faster, but these weeks have been rough. Here's a little sketch that I made today, it's not perfect but I'll clean it up. Please feel free to tell me if you see things I could fix, I feel like it's really bad but I can't tell what's wrong exactly.
