Hi I am Rogene Mañas, a mixed media artist living in Eugene, Oregon, specializing in making art by applying paper clay to flat surfaces and sculpting it in bas-relief. I have written a book about my inventive process called "Artful Paper Clay: Techniques for Adding Dimension to Your Art" (publish by North Light Books, July 2016). I also create textural paintings using collage techniques which I have developed over my 40 year art career, which are also in my book. I teach workshops, make youtube videos and do demonstrations so that others can learn my fun and forgiving techniques.
