Just a quick hello from a wintery Perth where one remembers what seasons are. I'm here a little longer than i thought I'd be but will be on my way in the next week or two - time is just flying by. I'm starting to consider where to start making videos again and think heading to Maluku/Banda Islands, Indonesia, could be one option, although I do have a hankering for India also. I Hope you're all rather splendid. :) A few photos from Nepal and Indonesia taken over the years. (I really do have to work out what aspect ratio suits the pics posted here)

Hi All,
I’m taking a break from YouTube for two months. As much as I love making videos of my travels, I have other things in life I also enjoy.
I want to walk the backstreets of Bangkok and Phnom Penh with my camera, swing in a hammock on a remote island while writing my bad screenplays, and just enjoy travel for myself for a while.
There’s absolutely no doubt I’ll be back in a couple of months to make more videos!

Hi all. The last day or two I've been carrying a general feeling of malaise, or just a little off physically with a slight headache, lethargy, and a bit of queasiness. This appears every once in a while on the road I've found with it being just uncomfortable enough to lay you up for a few days but nothing more than that. Rather than making a half-hearted attempt at a video, I thought I'd take it easy so there might not be an upload until maybe Monday. Hope you understand. Cheers.

Hi all. I'm taking a few days off then flying out of Medan, Sumatra, on the 25th to a new destination which will see me uploading again from May 1st - I'm really excited about the travel plan for the month of May. The pic is Easter Sunday morning when I was woken at 4.30am by loud music and a sea of people walking down the street all carrying flame torches. I hope you're well and happy in life and doing the things YOU want to do. :) See you soon.

I had the privilege of meeting subscriber Chris and his partner Judith last night who are from Darwin as well as Peter from Brisbane, the four of us spending a good few hours at Swell Bar on Poppies1 enjoying a Bintang and a chat. Chris communicates by writing on a small white board as he's lost the capacity to speak but this was in no way a restriction to the conversation. Thanks all for a great night.

Apologies for no video today. I had a red wine incident a couple of nights ago (it was actually scotch)and still trying to recover from it. At this moment we're packing the new GoPro for the flight back to Bali which leaves in a few hours. Hopefully we'll have a video up tomorrow morning of the journey. Cheers.

This channel isn't entirely sure which direction it'll be taking as it travels its way through parts of Asia with the purpose of, well, just seeing the place and hopefully talking to a few of the people who live there - we'll probably have to eat something along the way as well, I guess.
Most of the content will be simply wandering around the streets of Asian countries giving you my impression of life and hopefully the thoughts of some of the locals.
