It seems that folks are looking for more files on the Patreon page, according to the analytics. I know that some of you folks are learning a lot from them, and I think it is a great way to see what you need to do and how to get where you need to be with these skills. I'm going to start trying to put up a new file every week; I don't know if I can keep up, but I'll do my best.
This week will be the Firebird; it's only CAD, so you will have to develop the CAM on your own, but I think this model has some challenges you might like. I'm making a modified version so we can compare CAM operations next week.
It doesn't look like I will be able to get a video out this week, so you have my permission, my blessing, and my valiant yet desperate plea to go back through the old videos and watch whatever you might have missed; or even better re-watch them all again. Despite the bump I received on Patreon with last week's Stradivarius Messiah plates post, the video has not received an excellent response. I was hoping you could do me a favor and share and like it; I think your friends will enjoy it.

I was recently asked what files are available with my $1 month ($8 per month for three months also includes a T-shirt) Patreon membership; when I put the list together, I was a bit taken back by how much we have accomplished in the last year, and there are many more to come.

It's quite a list and a great value, even if I say so myself.
Thanks for all the support, folks; many more to come.

It seems to me, based on the channels analytics, that content with narration performs better, on average. I thought I would propose this idea to you, good folks; what do you think, what do you prefer?

The difficulties of applying STEM engineering principles to the test-driven and validated scientific approach of Luthiery. The use of Computer-Aided Drafting, simulation, and analysis, as well as Computer Numerical Control, is explored in the design, testing, and creation of custom instruments such as violins, mandolins, nyckelharpas, banjos, hurdy-gurdies, cellos, violas, basses, and lap steel guitars, among others; and I enjoy sharing a joke now and then.
