I'm still trying to drum up visitors to my other YouTube channel which is my archive of short clips previously published on Facebook. I am trying to arrange these into playlists that will aid finding things that interest you.
This link should take you to a playlist of class 332 and 360 units on Heathrow services.
If you like this idea please subscribe to my shorts channel. Thank you.

I need a favour from you.
A couple of years ago I created another channel for my short videos, Boogies Trains Shorts. It has been dormant for a while as I decided the best place to post these was on Facebook. I now realise that it is difficult to find material that was published some time ago on that platform so I have decided to start uploading the last couple of years to my Shorts channel. I want to keep them separate from the longer videos on this channel.
If you enjoy shorter videos please also subscribe to Boogies Trains Shorts. The level of support will determine how much time I am able to commit to this over the coming few months.

A big thank you to all my subscribers. There are now over 6000 of you. Your support is much appreciated.
I value constructive comments on my videos so don't hold back even if you are pointing out an error or misunderstanding on my part.
I try to publish at least one video every week covering the everyday ordinary on Britain's railways. This is usually on a Friday afternoon. I have also been publishing on a Tuesday for a while but this depends on having enough material available and time to get it ready.
Additionally, YouTube have been encouraging creators to publish short videos in portrait format. I have been doing one every day for a while. The only way I seem to be able to create them is from previously published videos. I look on them as trailers for my existing videos.
Please feel free to share links to my work with anyone that might be interested in the content.

The weather is foul at the moment making the prospect of going out filming rather unattractive.
I'm playing with the YouTube Clips and Shorts functions to see if they have any relevance to my content and to you, my regular viewers.
This link is to a 'Clip' from one of my very early videos of Trains at Shortlands on 1 February, 2017. The weather was also foul on that day and the light was atrocious, but I still managed some to capture some material that is worth its place in the historical record.
Let me know what you think of this clip and the general concept of clips and shorts.

I post a short clip on my Facebook Page most days. These are either from a video that is already available on this channel or from a recent outing which will eventually be the subject of a video on this channel. Search for Boogies Trains on Facebook to get your daily fix.

One of my subscribers has asked me about my future video locations. I have to admit to having quite a backlog of raw material awaiting my attention with the video editor.
I have been on holiday quite a lot during the past couple of months catching up on trips cancelled during Covid restrictions. This has meant that I haven't had time to get the final videos ready for publication.
Locations awaiting my attention are the East Somerset Railway, Burnham, Hayes and Harlington, Bromley South, Barking, West Ham and more from Amsterdam.
I hope to be filming on the Flam railway in Norway next Friday.
Lots to look forward to.

I have been posting short clips from my archive on Facebook over the past few months and intend to continue to do so. These have been well received but it can be difficult to find one again if you want to see it again some time later.
I have therefore decided to also upload these, and some others, to a new YouTube Channel - Boogies Trains Shorts.
You can use the link below to get to it. There are only a few so far but I have hundreds more in the pipeline. I will try tp organise them into logical playlists later.
If you like the idea please subscribe to the new channel as well as this one.

I have uploaded a few videos that will become public at regular intervals over the next few weeks. I might be offline for some of that time so responses to your comments may not be as prompt as usual.

In the absence of new material, my schedule for publishing new videos is currently once a week on Friday afternoon. In my spare time I have been reviewing stills of trains around the world that I took whilst travelling on business or on holiday. I have published some of them, with an accompanying story, on my Facebook page. You might like to take a look.
I intend to publish more over the coming weeks.

Due to the current lockdown, I anticipate publishing only one video a week until at least the end of the year. I have very little new material to process and won't be going far from home as per the current guidelines.

Old and new on Britain's railways. The railway is in a constant state of change. What is common place one day soon becomes history. This channel is my attempt to record the everyday ordinary before it disappears. I am based in the London Borough of Bromley so my main focus is the London area. The back catalogue charts the changes over the past seven years and also looks further back to the 1970s when I was taking 35mm slides. There are also mini series about the history of the early railways around London and how they are used today. I publish regular new videos so it is always worth coming back to this channel. It is even easier if you subscribe and ask YouTube to notify you when a new video is published. The big story over the next couple of years is likely to be the introduction of new rolling stock and the cascading of the older generation to new duties. HS2 and other major projects will also feature as they become more visible.
