Warwick Economics Summit is the largest academic student-run conference in the UK.
Each year over 400 students from approximately 50 top universities including Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge, and 17 countries including the United States, Sweden and India, descend upon the University of Warwick for a weekend of talks, seminars and debates by world renowned speakers from the spheres of Economics, Politics and International Relations.
Past speakers include Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences Professor John F. Nash and Professor George A. Akerlof, Rt Hon Alistair Darling MP former Chancellor of the Exchequer and Mr Rufus H. Yerxa, Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organisation.
The social highlight of the weekend is the Summit Ball for over 400 delegates, speakers and sponsors.
