Found an early one! Everyone Who Had a Hit, World Record Club, 1964. Some of the artists performing are named - see back cover. World Record Club was mail order, with the parent company being EMI. Somewhat scary sleeve, but the cover versions are quite good!

Is this the same backing track as Elton John's Signed, Sealed Delivered? And the guy's voice appears on a few of the tracks on David Byron's Early Sessions CDs. Presumably an Avenue Records session singer, later mistaken for David Byron? https://youtu.be/_t6hjz6bGW0?si=PONoF...

Unopened LPs, still sealed in the shrink-wrap. The question is, do you open them or leave them sealed? 🤔 Disco Kings & Queens (Chevron - UK - 1979) - Tina Charles sings a cover of It's In His Kiss. The Beatles Songbook - The Beatles Now And Then (Avenue of America - USA/Canada - undated) features six tracks with lead vocals by David Byron - with some help from Elton John! Okay, so I opened them to enjoy them! 😍

CORRECTION! Tina Charles appeared on eleven volumes of Top of the Pops (with a total of eighteen tracks) between 1973 and 1980 🥰

From May 1968, Volume 2 in the series. Features one track by David Byron - his first lead vocal on Marble Arch and one of my favourite songs - Rosie. Okay, so I already have a copy of this LP, but they are so rarely seen in charity shops, I just had to have it for £2! Plays well, despite some light lines, and maybe better than my first copy! Mono only at this point, stereo arrived with Volume 4, later in 1968.
