It's time for a long-overdue channel update!
First thing's first, I owe everyone an apology (I should really stop making video polls since I seem to do them right before a long hiatus). I did my best to keep up with Roxember, but Roca's accident ate away at my motivation fairly quickly, so I decided to spend most of my free time the second half of December with family and friends to restore my energy. I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner.
I was so relieved to hear that Roca's situation isn't life-threatening, and I want to make sure that she comes back to as much love and happiness as possible. For those who don't know, January is arguably my busiest month of the year at work, and I've been doing a lot of traveling recently. Even though I'm still busy, I feel that I've gotten to a point where I can ease my way back into making videos again. I have a target schedule in mind with both Roca and non-Roca content (but mostly Roca content), and videos will start up again tomorrow! (＾▽＾)
I haven't just been doing nothing though! I have a few other updates to share! First, you may have noticed that I have a new pfp made by x.com/willful759! I had this idea for a humanoid form for years now but never felt "big enough" to justify going through with it. Honestly, I still don't feel big enough, so I'm holding off on commissioning the full design/releasing my lore until 2k. Either way, I'm super happy with how it came out!
Also, a few people asked me to make a Roca best of 2024 video, but I ended up not getting nearly enough moment submissions to go through with it. Instead, I decided to do something much crazier and make a laugh compilation out of every single one of Roca's (publicly-archived) laughs of 2024! I've already asked the JamStones of Twitter to help out with tagging every single laugh across Roca's 146 public streams of 2024, but I'll ask here as well. Rules for what counts as a laugh are within the spreadsheet. The faster we tag all of Roca's streams, the faster the video can get finished. Given the sheer length of the laugh compilation, it'll be a raw edit, but I'll most likely make separate videos on my favorite moments.
In general, Twitter is a good way to keep up with my antics since not everything makes it to these community posts. For example, I never announced it here, but x.com/7shinta7 ended up winning the Rocmas talent show. I really liked his skeb idea, and it should be coming in any day now. ANTICIPATE IT! The art below is another amazing skeb from x.com/nanafushioreo I happened to get while typing this post (I hope we get to go to the Brat Café again soon).
With Rocmas over, the next major holiday is Rocantine's Day! Expect an announcement on that soon.
Last but not least, I've been challenging myself to make a new Roca gif every day for an entire year. If you're part of Idol's official discord server and are keeping track, we're already up to day 29! All of the gifs so far have been uploaded to Tenor (expect for the one of Roara, which ended up being too long), so feel free to insert them into your everyday online conversations! (>⩊<)

Every once in a while, Skeb smiles upon me and gifts me two pieces of Roca art in one day. Roca here is anything but smiling, but I sure am! The Emo Roxy outfit last month cooked hard, and even though there was fanart made of her already, I wanted MORE!!!

Let Roca serenade you with a beautiful winter concert. Even if Christmas is over, we're still early into winter, so it's still possible, right? >.< If you couldn't tell by some of my past skebs, I'm a big fan of Love Live, and Roca really rocks a lot of their idol outfits. This probably won't be the last time you see one of them. ^-^

I'm hoping Roca's Rocovery is going well and that she can receive all the happiness she deserves in 2025. This has been a rough year in many ways, and there have been many times where motivation has been low. When I'm at my lowest, I remind myself that every bit of support makes a difference. Let's keep up the healing beamus, positive messages, and any other form of support we can think of to give Roca all the love and care she needs!
Speaking of, reminder that even though Christmas is over, Rocmas is still going on! There are still a few more days to participate, and I've already seen some incredible gifts come in. Remember that your contribution matters, no matter how small!
