At the end of 2020, I and my wife moved from Sapporo to the small town of 2k people at the foot of Mt.Yotei in Hokkaido Japan.
Rent is now 1/3 of what it used to be and winter heating costs are now 1/4 of what they used to be.
I'd like to keep a diary of my life in the countryside with as little pretense as possible.
