Buenos Aires, Argentina based Koiwa aka Cristián García Laborde produces and DJ lo-fi house, Ambient, IDM and Techno. Inspired by traveling around the world, landscapes, flying, airports and airplanes.

He's currently playing as a drummer for Haien, is part of Sindicato del Drone and dedicated to his solo project, which began in 2016 and that found its name during a trip to Koiwa, a neighborhood in Tokyo.
Expanding his prolific nature during 2023, he released several singles and albums, both alone and in collaboration with other artists (Nicolás Aimo, Disonar, Le Code). Notably his solo album Post Ambient, released via Puddle Label run by Ariel Schlichter, Include five reworks of his track smrsms from other artists (Eric Olsen, Catu Hardoy, maeri, Pablo Reche and Matt Cianfo) while on the other hand he released Unexpected, a full collaborative album with SKSSS.
