Just dropped my most elaborate music video to date for my new song "Drag Me Down"
Iāve always wanted to do some kind of live-action music video, not the easiest thing to do by yourself when you have to film AND be in it. But I had a vision and made it work with a blacked out room and tripod with a ring light, plus maaaany hours of editing and layering.
Iām pretty happy with how it turned out and hope y'all enjoy it!

BOE in 2023! With the new year around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on this past year and all the projects and releases I worked on.
The drops: 6 original singles in various styles! A metal reimagining of āDYWTYLMā by Sleep Token, which has gotten a TON of love on YouTube. A re-issue of my very first album āUnder Controlā to Spotify, as well as a compilation of all āAncientā releases I dubbed the āTrilogy Collection.ā
The gear: Upgraded my audio interface to an Audient iD4 unit, which has been excellent for low-latency playback with amp sims. I put my new Schecter Reaper 7-string through its paces that I had got last Christmas (canāt believe how little Iāve talked about that guitar, will have to remedy with a review soon). More recently got my ESP LTD TE-1000 guitar which has been phenomenal, used it on my latest single and you can catch my review on that on my YouTube channel.
The Extras: partnered with Soleil Guitars after reviewing their super awesome Galaxy model! Maybe a custom build for BOE coming in the future? I was also in a music writing contest on Newgrounds in which I made it all the way to the top 8 musicians! Considering it started with well over 100+ entries at the start, itās awesome to think I made it as far as I did!
Overall itās been an incredible year for my music journey. More importantly, shout out to everyone who has supported me this past year and beyond - without yall this hobby of mine would feel empty. That being said from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Letās keep the fire kindled and burning brighter than ever through 2024!

First visual impressions on my new ESP LTD TE-1000 in āBlack Blastā:
I absolutely love the textured swamp ash body, itās a really cool touch and feels nice in hand. They (Sweetwater) call it a gloss finish but in person I would say itās closer to a satin sheen which I like personally, hides fingerprints very well.
Compared to my Squier Telecaster that this body is based on, this is a tad bit heavier - not a huge deal, just an observation. The roasted maple fingerboard is thin and feels great, frets 17-22 are scalloped which is very interesting - I havenāt played around with this axe on those frets yet so I canāt comment on whether I like the feature or not.
Iām very much looking forward to diving into this thing more on the playing and recording side, so stay tuned for a full demo coming soon!

Itās been a great run with my Ibanez RG3EXFM1 - she served me very well over the last 11+ years! But today it was time to say goodbye and pass her along to a new owner. š„² Had to make way for the new addition coming soon š which I canāt wait to share the reveal with yāall!
Side note, did you know Ibanez called this flaming red color āBlackberryā? š¤
