Gem Selections came into being as a brain child of its promoter Pankaj Khanna on the auspicious day of Makar Sakranti i.e., the day when the Sun starts journey towards North ( 13th January in English Calender) in the year 1987.

Pankaj Khanna had done a Certificate Course in Gemology from Surat Gemology Institute( Regd.) and had learned Astrology & Yoga from Yogi Atmananda Saraswati in Garwal Himalayas and now wanted to deliver the fruits of the best of his education to the public at large.

Gem Selections received its retail arm in in April 1994 since that time it has been delivering best Gemstones to the people across India. In July 2002 it entered the the world of E Commerce when it became the became the back end for all the Gems, Rudraksha & Yantra requirements of the Times Internet Limited.

Through the 33 years of its existence Gem Selections has consistently delivered quality and that too at most reasonable prices.
