Thank you, Arab News Japan, for featuring our Japanese Art Brunch in Dubai! 🇯🇵 🎨

It was such a rewarding experience to host this event, blending art and culture.

Led by artist Nadia Yoshioka in collaboration with Japan in Arabia, guests enjoyed a guided Sumi-E-inspired painting session, while Chef Kobayashi-San delighted everyone with authentic Japanese cuisine.

We will have more of these events soon let us know if you are interested to join in Dubai.

⏰ 20 minute painting challenge 🎨
As you know I have been taking a short course by @katiejoblingart recently. I wanted to further improve my art skills as humans we keep learning in every stage of life.

This study is from an exercise from the course where we are required to paint a seascape looking at a reference with a 20 minute timer and there is more, we have to paint with limited color palette and using big brush only for that impressionist look 👀 🌊

What I learned by making this art is that, mixing the complementary colors and using bigger brush strokes gives that artistic feel to it. I loved how the cliffs turned out they look so vibrant which I love. I like cheerful and colorful art yet have realistic feel to it.

Thanks to @katiejoblingart for her informative yet fun course I am enjoying every part of it and improving my art skills simultaneously.
