Sam Himself shares âBackstreetsâ ahead of his third album, due out in the spring. The âSwiss-born, Gotham-bredâ (SPIN) alt./indie auteurâs new single showcases his signature âvocal powerâ (CoS) â which earned him the nickname âKing of Tearsâ in his home country â across three octaves in an intimately anthemic production by Daniel Schlett (Iggy Pop, The War On Drugs) with bass by Josh Werner (Ghostface Killah) and mastering by Greg Calbi (Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie).
