By the stage name of “CHIKATETSU” Julian Nagano started his music career and released three solo mixtapes and performed live in Tokyo, Chiba and Ibaraki, together with the Chiba-based Hip Hop collective B2BC. The environment changed drastically when he moved back to Germany where is originally from. Traveling the world, he started to realize that he is not bounded to any nationality or pre-defined Rapper-image, so he decided to change his artist name into his real name. Today, Julian Nagano translates his international and free-minded self into his music as an independent artist.
CHIKATETSU名義で活動開始。ソロアーティストとして3枚のMIXTAPEをリリースし、千葉を拠点とするヒップホップ集団B2BCとともに東京、千葉、茨城でライブ活動を行う。その後、出身地であるドイツに戻り、環境が一変。世界を旅し、いわゆるラッパー像や国などに縛られる必要がないことに気づき、アーティスト名を本名に変更。現在、Julian Naganoはインディペンデント・アーティストとして、そのインターナショナルでフリーなマインドを音楽に反映させている。
