Dear Desert Rose Band fans, today , after approx 10 years , I decided to upload some videos from desert rose band members which did solo work outside the DRB. My first vids are from guitar master John Jorgenson with his group the Hellecasters . John left Desert Rose in 1991 and formed together with Will Ray and Jerry Donahue this successful guitar group where the guitars were the ‘voices’ of the band. Enjoy.
If you have rare desert rose videos at home ( taped from Tv on VHS or private shows ) please let me know. For more info about the desert rose band visit: www.drb-fans.com

The Desert Rose Band was a country rock band from California, founded by Chris Hillman (formerly of The Byrds and the Flying Burrito Brothers), along with Herb Pedersen and John Jorgenson, in 1985. Rounding out the original lineup were Bill Bryson (bass guitar), Jay Dee Maness (pedal steel guitar), and Steve Duncan (drums).
The Desert Rose Band put California country rock back in business for the next nine years, and had a string of five number one hits as well as a Grammy nomination before the band called it quits in february 1994. The band released a total of six albums, along with a greatest hits album.
