Naama Neuman has received acclaim performing in Europe, Asia, Israel, North and South America as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician. She held the positions of the solo flute in the Komische Oper Berlin and the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra.
Starting as a teenager with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, she performed and toured internationally with renowned conductors including Zubin Mehta, Kiril Petrenko, Gustavo Dudamel, Ricardo Mutti, Kurt Masur, and Valery Gergiev.
Working to enrich the flute repertoire, her transcriptions of masterpieces include her arrangement of Grieg's first violin sonata, published in 2020 by Edition Svitzer.
Naama Neuman is on the flute faculty at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University. Her students have been very successful, winning scholarships and auditions in Israel, Germany, and Canada.
