A day in the life of a Canadian mom (to an amazing daughter with autism), wife, hunter, hobby farmer, artist, and forest explorer. I left my expensive, fast-paced hometown in the city (on Vancouver Island) a decade ago in pursuit of a better life, and ended up in a tiny town in remote Northern BC where often the bears outnumber the people and traffic on the road. Many people are in awe of the life I have now. I'm here to inspire and show that anything is possible for anybody, regardless of adversity you have faced. I am learning as I go and winging it as a homesteader, but have had a lot of success and fun along the way, gained a completely different mindset and perspective, and I wouldn't change a thing.
