Cathy, an American photojournalist in her late 60s, traded the hustle of Florida for a simpler, sun-soaked life on the island of Roatan in 2021. With her husband Mike, Rocco the Doberman, Leo the Min Pin, and Gizmo, the cat, they built a dream 3-Pod home on the beach, later adding two rescued island pups, Brownie and Stripe, to their family.
They embrace the āBeach Bumā life together, walking the shore at Sunrise, 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily. Thatās a lot of wagging tails and happy steps!
