Eleven people sustained minor injuries when a Lufthansa flight from Buenos Aires (EZE) to Frankfurt (FRA), operated by Boeing 747 aircraft D-ABYP, encountered severe turbulence while climbing to 33,000 feet over the Atlantic. According to the airline, five passengers and six crew members were affected, though the injuries were fortunately minor. The flight carried a total of 329 passengers and 19 crew members.

Yesterday, flight #NK8193 traveled from Fort Lauderdale to Santiago de los Caballeros to pick up passengers and crew from flight #NK951, which was hit by gunfire while attempting to land in Port-au-Prince. One flight attendant sustained minor injuries.

A Spirit Airlines Airbus A320 was targeted by gunfire while approaching Port-au-Prince Airport in Haiti. The aircraft ultimately diverted to the Dominican Republic. At least one flight attendant was injured in this incident. This shooting forced Haitian authorities to suspend commercial flights at Port-au-Prince International Airport, the Haitian capital’s main airport.
