Hello.
I am [name and address withheld], but you very likely know me as AR. It's an old name that I used to go by nearly everywhere when I was much younger. On this channel, it is what people know me as the most.
On January 3, 2015, I, along with my brother CODE (another former alias), created this channel to upload silly little videos called YouTube Poops, better known by their abbreviation, YTP. We uploaded consistently until 2018, with sparse uploads for the next two years, slowly fading out within the start of the new decade. For the vast majority of being on the internet, this channel has done nothing but bring experience, joy, and new connections for both of us. Despite the roadblocks, disagreements between the both of us behind closed doors, and negative encounters from this channel, we still have had a wonderful time to this point creating funny meme stuff for the world to see.
It is October 5, 2023 in my timezone as of writing this post, roughly 3197 days since the creation of CODEandAR. I'll cut to the chase on the subject of this update - it's time for both of us to hang up the towel.
Earlier this year, I had plans to revive this channel, either on a new home base, or here. What happened? The short answer to the result of this is that neither have really worked out. Even the proposed new channel is deactivated now. In my last update, I also stated that CODE and I have parted ways with doing things on the internet as a duo. We no longer exist as a team effort project and have very much been independent with our internet activity. In terms of CODEandAR, the split has been a thing since around 2020. The last two videos from the past couple years (PoopTube Yeah + The Chris Pratt Spectacular) were all my solo doing.
Like the result of many hobbyist YouTubers, life changes and takes you toward new opportunities. When we created CODEandAR, we were fresh into high school. Now, as life shoots out more lemons and demands lemonade, there are only a few things that we can truly focus on in terms of creation or hobby work. Both of us have our own passions and goals, and YTP is not one of them.
I myself have mainly been a music creator and a fursuiter on another specific toxic social media platform (wow, the guy who loved Pokemon and the eeveelutions was a furry all along, who tf would've guessed?). I also focus a lot on things in my personal life, that of which I care too much about my internet privacy to really go into detail on. With many of my newer hobbies being a priority in my life, and many more to come, even opening up an editor like Sony Vegas or DaVinci Resolve and trying to make a new YTP doesn't hit the same. I no longer have the drive to make the videos I once did, and frankly that is all okay.
I love YouTube Poops. They are a huge part of my internet presence, humor, social connections, and overall life in general. I come back to them every once in a while whether by choice or not. This channel never really died, nor will it ever. I will still always be curating it, as well as leaving comments on others' works every so often. Of course, this channel will also not be deleted either as there are several viewers who come across the videos here who still enjoy our work.
With the end of uploads here, I want to mention one last thing. I fully appreciate every friend both of us made, every acquaintance that wanted to support us, and above all, the fantastic memories of every individual upload, collab, tennis, and more. This channel has ended up being a lot more of a cornerstone than what it would appear on the outside, and for those who are left and never forgot our presence, we both appreciate you guys.

Hello...Is...this thing on? Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3..
Well, for those who have stuck around for this long, if there's anyone left, I'd love to talk about what's been going on lately.
Hi, it's me, AR. Let's just cut the detailed introduction and get into why I'm posting this here.
YouTube Poop as a whole is becoming of interest to me again, but there's some things I'd like to explain before I really get into my rediscovered interest.
Many people who have followed this channel know that this was run by two people. I say "was" because CODE is virtually not involved with these videos anymore. It's not really like he ever was as I did about 80% of all the editing, although he did brainstorm several clever gags that we used throughout. He's currently doing other activities on the internet, but respecting whether or not he wants a slew of former fans on his current endeavors, I'm withholding anything about it.
I, myself, have done a myriad of various activities outside of YTP to varying degrees of success, including music making, tiktok videos, and overall being a cryptic goofball, among several short-lived ideas that never came to be. It's kind of like what Shakira sang about in Zootopia with the whole "try everything" thing. It took a few years to realize what I've really wanted to get out of things many would consider hobbies, and I have a good idea on what to do.
This leads into what I want to do with YTP. I never fully retired. I've always come back even whether to make a "serious" YTP or just something on more layers of irony than an onion. The last video on this channel was three months ago. I've looked back on some of my own work, at least within the past few years. I think they hold up way more than I ever gave myself, or my brother, credit for. It honestly wouldn't hurt to play the same games I did several years ago on a whole new landscape of YouTube. It's kind of funny because YTP has always been the type of videos I come back to when wanting to make content again. Any time I tried something more serious, it ended with me running into dead ends. Probably because there was no need for me to "brand" my YTPs like with my other hobbies.
Enough rambling though, I'll get to where I want to go with this.
I'm arguing whether I want to keep uploading to this channel, especially given CODE isn't here by my side much with these anymore. I know that he has said that I can upload anything I want here now (which was something he was avidly against before), but it still feels disingenuous to upload as both of us when it's only me. I have both a new channel where I can upload the ideas I've had for so long, as well as any sort of dumb garbage I can post if my mind can dream it up, because frankly, I've been doing a ton of silly and literally nonsensical edits recently. I will upload one last video here if I do.
Additionally, if I do decide to move this will mean two things, no uploads here anymore, but it does mean this channel will NOT be deleted. I still get friendly comments from time to time of people who enjoyed our stuff over the years, and it still feels super heartwarming. I don't want to delete any old stuff that makes people laugh. The only stuff I've privated recently are extremely old and forced videos nobody was even watching, but whatever.
I should mention one thing before ending this write-up off, another reason for a possible channel switch is that I don't go by AR anymore, anywhere, even with the plethora of internet aliases I have and still use. My current screen name is EmmyFur, but you can call me Emmy.
tl;dr, I still want to move forward with YTP. CODE is not interested anymore but I, AR, am. There is a likely chance I will change the channel, for a lack of a better pun.
I thank everyone who has read this far and appreciate everybody who has supported this channel up to this point. Edit and nonsensical humor such as YTPs will never die to me, and the fact that YTPs as an entire video fad have stood the test of time fill me with inner joy. To sign off with this message, I will quote Paul Van Dyk's "The Other Side" because I feel like it.
I'm sure the sun will shine
When I reach the light
I will see you on the other side
Thank you all

Hey everyone, looks like we just the community tab. We'll be posting anything here regarding YTP stuff or anything other CODEandAR related projects.
To start out, we'll be doing another live stream in about an hour (3:30 PM PST/6:30 PM EST). This one will be both a hangout and Stepmania stream. While we haven't finished all the tools you'll be able to use as a viewer, we have added a few more things for this stream. It'll also much longer this time, probably for at least an hour and a half or two.
So come say hi if you want :)

Former YTP duo. The videos will remain up for the entertainment of those who like them. Thanks for nearly 9 years of mashed up fun and memories.
