Bangladesh Matchbox Collector's Club ( BMCC) is the first International organization of phillumenists in Bangladesh. BMCC has been working to promote matchbox collection in Bangladesh and around the world. BMCC also works to research and preserve history of Matchboxes.
It was Mr. Shakil Huq to think of establishing this nice platform with phillumenists all over the world. One of the renowned phillumenists of the world and the pioneer of phillumeny in Bangladesh, Shakil Huq founded the club in 2016 with some other nice collectors of Bangladesh. Though the organization started its journey with only five members, it grew larger as a number of collectors joined the organization over the years.
Today BMCC is one of the leading phillumenists' organizations in the world with hard-working and dedicated collectors. BMCC publishes a quarterly journal on phillumeny which is the first international journal on phillumeny in the history of Indian Subcontinent.
