Happy New Year, friends!
I am so grateful for all your continued supportâfor my old and new friends, the creative collaborations, the mentorship and feedback on my art and music, the activists who fight for a better world, whether through big actions like going to protests or in discreet ways like choosing where to spend (and not spend) their money (it's all important), and the get-togethers in person or over a phone call.
Wishing you all a happy New Year!
Alejandro Jodorowky wrote last year, âToday at midnight, the year 2024 begins, summing up to 2+0+2+4=8, the number of Justice, an even number allowing humanity to live in relative balance. This will culminate in 2025, the number 9, where complete peace will be foundâ

I woke up today to my birthday. As an adult, it feels like the years race before my eyes, whereas as a child, it felt like an eternity until it would be my birthday again. Every year I try to remind myself to enjoy each day, because before I know it, another year will have passed. #Nov16 #Birthdaygirl

A grainy behind-the-scenes photo of the making of my music video for my upcoming track. We were lucky (and grateful) to be able to shoot the music video in the theatre of the old high school which my brother Max and I both attendedâa place brimming with memories for both of us. Max was expelled, and I left in grade 10; unable to fit into the 'normal' high school hahaâquite amusing in hindsight to be back for Max and I.
Huge thanks to Julian, Sinéad, and Rob for helping us film in this sentimental school and helping to make this shoot a reality!

My mom used to say, "When you clean up, you find things you thought you had lost or misplaced." As always, she is right! Here are some nice "discovery finds", which were found when sorting and cleaning, and now available for BANDCAMP FRIDAY (Feb 2nd):
***My Bandcamp Link here:***

1. The first biggest surprise: In Night School Record's warehouse in the UK, they found some last copies of the âHard to Pleaseâ black vinyls. These warehouse-find-vinyls were without sleeves, so we got new covers printed. I have VERY limited copies, but they will be available for todayâs Bandcamp Friday.
2. âHard to Pleaseâ CDs! I didnât even save copies for myself from the last batch. Now I have copies for myself and YOU (if you were wanting a CD too). ;)
3. ÂĄAnd!..When I was going through my own boxes of stuff in my apartment, I found a small box tucked away in the back on a shelf, which held the remaining âHolding Onâ silkscreen-editions. I was wondering what the heck happened to these last copies. I just assumed that I had lost them in my move from my last apartment, but no, I just needed to clean up and organise my things! (as usual!) These are the last copies.
I have listed all of these items up ON my Sally Dige Bandcamp page. Itâs extra special if you buy them today on Bandcamp Friday (Fri, Feb 2nd) because Bandcamp will NOT be taking their 15% cut (which is still a good chunk of change for us smaller artists). So if you were ever thinking of getting these items (as I have gotten many requests in the past) I would say do it today! Yay!
Have a good day everyone! đ

Wishing you all strength, courage, joy, happiness, peace, good health and exploration in 2024! We can make this world a better place if we choose to, and come together. I believe in us all. Love to everyone đ
Thank you also everyone who has showed me so much support and generosity in 2023!

Wow! A very nice painting of me by David Briker of the band Trauma Novelle. David made this painting in Spain during his tour/stay there. In the text David writes, "One must read 'The Book of Sally' slowly. It's beautifully written & full of laughter". I very much would like to read this "Book of Sally"! Thank you David!

Throwback to the memories of this photoshoot with Sven HarambasÌicÌ. These photos make me think that my hands and arms are these branches, as if I am Little Otik, or Edwina Branchhands. Would you still hold my hand if it was a brittle branch, twisting in various directions?

A behind-the-scenes photo of me on the shoot of my music video âI Will Be the Sun For Youâ. I dream of the next music videos I will make! I love watching music videos so much! What are your favourite music videos? I always love watching new cool music videos, or revisiting old/classic ones. I'm always looking for inspiration!
