HEY HEY!!! Latest video is up where I draw Dan Da Dan in my dumb cartoony style!! I wanted to post the final version here so you can study it over and over and over and... ok, maybe not.... but here it is!
Some more insight into my process when it comes to painted illustrations: I focus more on the design than emotion when doing these, being tighter instead of looser with the drawing. Why? Well, IMO if it's TOO cartoony and emotional it can get too busy with all the paint texture, etc. That's not to be said it can't be done! It's just a preference of mine! Paintings can still be funny. But I tone down the emotion and focus on a solid pose and appealing drawing. It's not going to animated, so there's different things like the painting techniques, that I can focus on.
Anyway, let me know what anime you'd like me to draw in my style next!
