Greetings and Welcome to my Channel,

My name is Dr. Jason Freeman, and I am an unapologetically black, associate professor of sociology at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. I am also a comic book nerd who is not ashamed to say that I became a fan of various comic book characters through Saturday morning cartoons and comic book movies.

This channel is an extension of my teaching and base all of my statements of fact in regard to black history and culture on the prevailing evidence of the time.

This channel is also an extension of my interests and personality, so I review movies an TV shows that I am interested in watching, as well as books I am interested in reading, and tell you whether or not they are worth your time.
