MyPublicNeedsMe was taken from the headlines when Paris Hilton was sentenced for her D.U.I. charge. Paris started a petition saying "My Public Needs Me" in an attempt to avoid any real jail time. "She brings fashion and glamour to peoples otherwise boring and mundane lives" or something like that. I just thought it was funny.
