Hello! I just wanted to publicly state that there will be no more “First Demos” uploaded on YouTube prior to the release of the full Ouran Concept Album on streaming platforms and iTunes.
Uploading demos in this way was a great way for me to improve and workshop things until I felt I was able to achieve a certain standard of sound. I’m not at all trying to imply that I feel like I’ve mastered writing, producing, mixing and mastering music- I definitely still have a ways to go. But I feel like I don’t have to keep producing the lyric videos as test runs and that I can now devote full time and attention to getting the full album ready. That and I do want some things to be surprises when everything is released together.
For those who have asked: I will be uploading instrumentals for select songs soon! So far, I’m only planning to upload instrumental tracks for the following songs:
-Breaking Through
-Say You See Me
-Alive
-Thunder and Lightning
-Dreaming Out Loud
-Life’s Too Short
If you were hoping to have an instrumental track for something not listed above, please let me know via the comments of the song here on YouTube or message/submit an ask to the @ouranmusical Tumblr blog.
