Uploaded the 1999 Custom Robo OVA with subtitles (UNLISTED to avoid bulking up the main page) to the channel as it was part of the indefinitely delayed Custom Robo retrospective I was working on some years ago, I ended up losing all recorded gameplay for the DS entry Custom Robo Arena, so im putting this up on the channel for prosperity. Obviously no ads are on for this as its not something I made, just subtitled. Thought yall deserved to see it regardless.

Was lucky enough to attend the US premiere of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX: Beginning. Some very quick first impressions with this being a re-cut of episode 1-3 are this:
There's alot here that already has me curious, but very worried of the direction this show can go in. Lots of my initial fears of what a "studio khara Gundam" would be are there in full force. Still unsure how I feel about much of the mechanical design, I will say that episode 3 had quite a solid final fight scene. Beyond that, i'll say that episode 1, or at least what the movie dedicated the first half hour to, is a bold choice, but the type of bold choice that again, worries me greatly about the entire MO of a Khara Gundam series. Still gonna be watching weekly, but I'm cautious.

Hate hitting creative walls but im at that point with the channel currently, I have one video still in production that I hope to get out soon but I dont have a specific date in mind and im dedicated to doing the mazinger retrospective at the end of this year but ive felt a bit stuck, keeping the patreon on permanent pause until I get my groove back. Hey everyone, final update of 2024 (aside from any actual videos I might get out before the years out, have Braven and American Vocalists In Anime in the works) but my IRL work situation is finally clearing up, so in 2025 ill have way more time (and motivation) to get videos out at a HOPEFULLY consistent pace. I have a few things in particular I REALLY want to get done for 2025, and one of those is going to be dropping in a trailer on the channel a 12AM EST, November first, aka, TONIGHT. Im still keeping my patreon open as well which I had paused for a good bit of this year due to not getting anything out, and if you still support that, thank you, ill be 100% upfront with all of you and say it pays for my gym membership lol.

Another mini update about the Bravern video and my plans for the channel! So I started my new job this week and its been quite a busy intro to it, im still continuing my on-boarding process into next week as well, this has taken time away from the video so im sadly going to have to delay it again. But don't worry its still coming this month, just not this weekend like I wanted. CheeseGX and being way too generous on video release estimates? Wow what a surprise lmao. With that said thanks for your patience as always, Youtube isnt my regular job but I legit love making videos and will still continue to do so, same goes for the Twitch streams. Been waiting for ya'll to see this one. After doing the Slave Zero X video, I got in touch with the games artist Francine Bridge (@Personfaces on twitter) and commissioned a brand new youtube and twitter avatar from her! She did a phenomenal job on this, shouts out to her!
