I found out why I am not particularly fond of Eurobeat as a "racing music": my first exposure to fast car and music cocktail was Andy Wilman's Top Gear UK, and their choice of various genres of songs ranging from classic, movie soundtracks, to hiphop instrumentals, and editing that accompanied those songs... was simply sublime.

The continuous fast beats of Eurobeat and hectic vocals felt like distraction from the also fast paced driving.

But... No One Sleeps In Tokyo is slowly growing on me. I am trying so hard to find the things I like in Eurobeat genre as I have to watch Initial D for a while from now on.

That's way too many polygons and objects if you ask me. If I am not mistaken, computers like munching up low-poly and textures more than they do with million 3D polygons with their own shades, light source and stuff.

Make the cars square-y boxs, make flush rock surfaces and put better texture on it. Cheat. Rush Rally 3 looks bloody amazing with its 8-9 minute stage and it only weighs 151mb. It knows how to hide things.

Some sand rock cliffs on Hillclimb are glistening like they are wet or made of glass or something and it doesn't look any better. If anything it makes the game slower and ruins things more.

Waldorf looked beautiful when it first came out and nobody cared how bad the rock cliffs were 3D modelled. The reason why I thought Gunsai(or Maze) would be better was, because it would be like the original Touge map. Less distance to look at, the tree wall blocking things from view, and narrow road. But if this is what their approach is to making things now, I can't tell.

People play this game to race, not to look at sceneries or objects that flies by them within seconds. Richard Burns Rally still works because its a good game and not because its modelings are particularly good.

Complaints after complaints that this game is too laggy, that it throws players off the game at random, and they still cling onto "fidelity" of 3D modeling. Come on. This is a good track. You can do better.

Assoluto Racing's Hillclimb track. It's not Pikes Peak. It's much shorter than Rush Rally 2's Hillclimb, and not that challenging. It takes about 3 minutes for a 300hp car to reach the peak. In Rush Rally 2 it would take 13-14 minutes if I remember correctly.

I stand by my assessment that Maze Circuit or Gunsai touge would have been the best choice for the new track. It would have been more challenging and funny as well, if the width of the tracks was faithfully translated into the game.(Ebisu touge is wider in the game than it should be) Maybe licensing fee was too much.

Me: Said if I get Rally imports, I would quit the game. Literally stops making Assoluto Racing videos two weeks ago.

(Go to 3:45) When boomers say millenials or Gen Zs etc are the worst, remember that boomers themselves were "the worst new generation" of their time. Kes, 1969

As a driving enthusiast, I believe that good public transport is the quickest way to better roads and better driving conditions by keeping bad drivers off the roads. But is automomous driving vehicles the way forward? Bombshell drops at 18:31 of the video. Quite a good piece if you have thought about what driving would look like in the near future, or thought of being a licensed transport operator, like, a taxi driver.

Some of you Americans may have voted for the "yes we enjoy seeing you suffer" party who won. Yes, the minorities will suffer, the poor and the homeless and "illegals" will be likely hauled to the concentration camps. The overlap between these categories will be considerable.

Believe me when I say they will, my country used to do it. A lot of countries still do. People were tortured, and died there, buried in the mountains without headstones. America has ICE. It just has to expand it to accommodate more various people. Millions will go, and among them will be some of your families and friends you thought were safe.

But at least you will have lowered the cost of living yes?

Not. The rich's goal is to always keep their workers on the brink of financial collapse so they can extort their desperation and vulnerability. If it's not tariffs, it will be tax cuts for the top 1%. If you end up homeless, it is to their advantage. A dog eats dog world.

Some of you wanted the hypocritic "pretending to be good" to go away. Now they will do beastly things to all without pretending.

If any of you live in the United States, and you are queer, trans woman, trans man, lesbian, gay, bi, anything that would earn the ire of the right wingers... I am here for you. Be strong. I lived my whole youth not knowing what kind of state I was in because nobody told me, and everybody thought we were monsters. I lived in darkness. More people know the truth. You are the bearers of truth. You are valuable. Live to tell the tale. Love you guys.
