Sorry for not uploading lately, I've been sick with a very, very bad case of fuckoffimonvacationitus. But anyway, I want to share an interesting observation with some of you. I did a little digging about "Agitato Mechanical" the infamously lost Capitol track used in The Ren & Stimpy Show. What I have found is interesting, as the often cited fact of it being the track from Capitol Records reel D-37/D-38 is wrong. This track got later re-relased on CAR 402 as "Agitation [#28]" and it sounds nothing like the track used in the show (it's listed as "Full Mix" on the Warner-Chappell site):

Here's the thing: That specific reel is probably often citied because of cue sheets on the SABAM database, but almost every track on that reel has been re-relased by Carlin, all accept for one: "Heavy Suspense (EM-142)" which might be the actual track we're looking for.
It's not a very strong theory as there are some other tracks in the Capitol library called "Agitato Mechanical" or "Light Agitato" (another possible name of this piece), but at least for now none of them seem to be match.
I sincerely hope this track gets identified one day, because then I'm sure Ren & Stimpy fans and old production music fans world-wide would die happy.
