Ok so i know i havent been posting for a while and you all are probably expecting content soon, but im still staying at home and taking a break (since i got Covid) but I just felt the need to talk about this for a sec.
I just found this video on my recomended while scrolling through Utube like always when suddenly i saw this video. Reading the title i wanted to know what this was about.
Basically, in the context of this video, Jarvin (the man in the pink hoodie in the middle) talks about how disrespectful this youtuber named, ItsJayStation was to the LGBTQ+ comunity.
I honestly didnt think it would be that bad when it started, but it quickly went down-hill from the piont of (as a pre-teen) knowing its just a fun joke, to the stereotypical β¨GaY BoYsβ¨.....
They were actually very disrespecting towards the LGBTQ+ community and rude to the gays specifically.
They were saying how a simple potion, which they claimed was !!!FrOm ThE DaRk WeB!!!, could make a human being gay for 24 hours. They then started talking in the high-piched voice people use when acting β¨GgAaYyyβ¨ and started putting on makeup as-well.
It started getting very uncofortable to watch because the man who drank the potion started non-consetly touching and kissing/trying to kiss (aswell) the other male.
They made 3 other videos with this so called, GaY pOtIoN, two on the other males channel (not Jaystation) and the other 1 on ItsJayStations channel. The two on the other males channel was turning Jaystations gay with the same potion, then mixing a completely different potion they called the BaBy PoTiOn with the gay potion, making "GaY BaBiEs"...They involed kermit the frog in the third video on Jaystations channel aswell, and I gotta say it ruined the muppets for me and was VERY uncofortable to watch.

I just want to say that the man who made this video pionting out Jaystation for what he did, i agreed with the entire time. I know they probably just thought it would be a good idea but the video Jaystations and his friend made was, to me, and probably came across others as, extremely homophobic. If your going to make a video like the one they made that includes a very big and vass amount of people who are all apart of that community and you just get the SLIGHTEST thought it might be offensive to ANYONE, you just shouldnt make it, unless you tell them its just a joke not ment to hurt anyone.
Which they DID NOT include, so i do feel offended and i think that other people included in the LGBTQ+ communtiy would be highly disgusted and offened by them. I understand that they are just trying to make some CrEePy DaRk WeB videos for kids but i dont understand one thing....
They had this idea, but didnt think, AT ALL, how offensive this could be to a big and welcoming community of the LGBTQ+?! I just dont believe that they didnt have the slightest thought that this could offend TONS of people! This is a CHILDERENS APP! i know some of the content on here is more for teens or preteens, but come on guys! Some kids that are like 8 or 9 are on here and could possibly, just POSSIBLY be impacting them and how they see others based on their sexuality, and maybe even become homophobic.
Now i know this entire post seems like a big hate message towards JayStations, and i will admit it, it does seem like im just hating on him. But the thing is, i really dont mind most of his content. Yes some of it might be a bit unsettling and a bit rude, but when it comes to this you should just say it was a massive joke, and be over with it, trying your best not to offend as many people as possible.
Now if youd like you can go check out the other videos by JayStations and his friend, if youd like to know a bit more about what im talking about, but if youd just rather not, i honestly dont blame you.
But you can go check out Jarvin Johnson if you would like see what i saw, and have your own opion on the matter!
In conclusion, i just found it very offensive for me and uncofortable, and I just think they shouldve said imedently before or after the video that it was all a big joke, but because they did not, it came out very homophobic and rude to not only me but the LGBTQ+ communtiy. I hope you guys go watch Jarvin Johnson's video and get your own opions, i dont want to seem like im forcing you to hate on Jaystations.
