For nearly 20 years, Nighttown was the only jazz club in Ohio on Down Beat's list of the 100 Best Jazz Clubs in the World. It was owned by Brendan Ring and the music was handled by Jim Wadsworth and his firm, JW Productions. Unfortunately, the COVID outbreak forced Nighttown to shutter its doors. During that time, Brendan sold the restaurant to the owner of another restaurant group. After extensive renovations to the restaurant's infrastructure, it reopened in late 2023 as Nighttown, but without the jazz programming it was formerly known for. Many of the videos on this channel were filmed at Nighttown prior to the time of COVID.
