The Eclectic Moniker is a love fest from a heart, that also knows how heavy Monday morning can feel - the white man's tribute to Calypso.
The Eclectic Moniker is a musical collective consisting of 7 musicians with Frederik Vedersoe in front. The music consists of dreamy melancholy and curious melodies that floats to the marimba tones and guitar ornaments. The songs are, despite their exotic feel, characterized by a pop sound, that creates a joy of recognition. The music is a melting pot of different genres - indie rock, Afro-beat, calypso and alternative pop. The eclectic mix is unique. The sound is never heard before, but induces associations with well-known acts such as Paul Simon, Vampire Weekend, Beirut and Dirty Projectors.
