We have learnt about the abduction of comrade Motiv Kasagga , who, according to reports from onlookers, was violently picked up by men both in plain clothes and military attire and driven away to an unknown destination. We are yet to establish information regarding his whereabouts, but our legal teams have embarked on the task of locating him.

We are Announcing a Concert Aimed at Raising Funds to Assist our People Stuck in Dubai and other Arab Countries. As we know, hundreds of Ugandans are stranded in these countries with no help. Many of them want to return home but have no funds to facilitate their travels back home.
On 8th October, 2022 we shall be live in concert at Abu Hail Club Stadium in Dubai, and on 9th October, 2022 in Abu Dhabi at Villagio Hotel & Resort.
Proceeds from the concert will go to assist Ugandans who are stuck in detention centres in Dubai and other Arab Countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman. Let's turn up in large numbers and make the cause worthwhile.
Because the numbers of those in detention are so huge, in the coming days we shall guide on how other people of good will can contribute to this cause.

We observe August 13 as Heroes Day each year in remembrance of our fallen comrades, whose lives were ended by this brutal regime during our struggle.
On this Heroes Day, we honor the sacrifices made by comrades who fought for freedom and democracy, like Yasin Kawuma, Dan Kyeyune, Ritah Nabukenya, Ssekamwa Hakim, Frank Ssenteza, and many others.
Other than continuing this fight to its end, there is nothing we can do to repay these comrades for their sacrifice. Though it might take a while, those who took your life too soon will finally receive justice. May peace be granted to their souls.

Rt. Hon. Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba spent the vast majority of yesterday mentoring the young NUP MUBS Chapter leaders at the Makerere University Business School Leadership Symposium. The focus of the symposium was "Building Youth Leadership for Today and Tomorrow."
