Sorry for the short notice, but no Level Streaming today. Actually, I think I'm gonna take a hiatus with it. I'll work on an explainer in a bit, but I feel like I need a break.

Hey everybody! Should've posted this last week, but the first build of the map I've been building, The Canal, is publicly available to play now! You can grab it at the Last Life forums (link below).
Next week we'll be going over feedback I received, and determining what to do next. You can play the map and give me feedback via the survey included.
Hope you enjoy it! last-life.net/forum/topic/191/level-streaming-the-…

What makes a good level in a game? When we play one, we get a solid-feeling experience, a new and memorable environment, or an exciting twist on gameplay. But what are the components that contribute to good level design, and how can we identify them?
This channel aims to answer that. Through video case studies, I'll take a level from an existing game, look at it critically, and try to figure out what aspects of it work (and what aspects might not).
