My friend Manu at Exploding Shed asked if I would be interested in making some short DIY videos for their YouTube channel. I am migrating a lot of my DIY build content to Exploding Shed’s YouTube channel so I can focus on making music under my own artist channel. There is a lot of content on the way, but meanwhile I’ve just done this semi-generative ambient patch using (mostly) Frequency Central’s Klang Stadt and the Robaux 3PT. Hope you like it! It’s pretty much my first modular only piece (except the reverb).

I was pretty quiet over the summer just focusing on getting by, 2020 style... but I am spending more time in my studio lately and just started a new series where I will be building a eurorack rig with a heavy emphasis on DIY. If you are considering getting into synthy DIY stuff I hope this series proves valuable to you.

Really glad I could participate in the @SynthstromAudible Online Festival yesterday. There were so many good submissions so go check out the recorded stream if you missed it. In the mean time, here’s the piece I recorded up in the gardens of Heidelberg Castle overlooking the city. If I do it again I’ll start before the sun goes down, it’s gorgeous up there.
