My experiences of recovery, both personal and professional, convince me that the stories we tell and the experiences we share are the most powerful resouces we have.

Beacon aims to capture these stories and to share them with people in need of inspiration and guidance as they set out on their own journey. I also hope that it helps us to better understand what recovery means and challenges the stereotypes and related stigmas.

A little about me, I am a former heroin addict that, since getting clean 20+ years ago, has dedicated my life to helping others. The channel is a labour of love and relies entirely on the goodwill of others. Also, please be mindful that I'm no David Lean...just a man with a camera, a light or two and a passion for the story.
