Getting the TVs prepped for the ball drop tomorrow night.
We plan on steaming it here on YouTube, and will make an announcement tomorrow about it. Going to use the CT-100 and the Predicta.

I am currently working on an in-depth, very detailed video on something that is one of a kind from 1987. It is taking me a while due to waiting on parts/repairs/additional footage that needs to be recorded.
I estimate another 2 weeks before I get it published, but it will be worth it.
It is also 50% a Very Special Episode as well; This is a new series I am starting if it involves something from my past that is the exact same device (not a replacement) and that I have a special connection to.
In the meantime, here is a brand new China Pride hotel clock radio that has already failed (and still displays the same thing even after power cycling).

Tomorrow we will be traveling to Akron, Ohio, about a 1.5 hour drive for us. We will be streaming live here on YouTube at or around 3pm the total eclipse. Weather forecast is calling for a cloudy day, but it would still be neat to experience total darkness for a couple of minutes during the day.

Well, one thing is for sure, GPX stereos are highly flammable! Iām am surprised they donāt list that as a feature! We overdid getting our GPX on this time!

So sorry for the lack of videosā¦ I wish this was my day job, but alas it isnātā¦
But for a quick update of what to expect next for a video: I just powered on the 1959 Philco Predicta tonight for the first time after restorationā¦ and I cannot believe it. I have it perfectly up and running in 30 minutes. I was not expecting that at all. Just needs the yoke adjusted and picture centered.

80% finished with a 21ā Philco Predicta Holiday. Just coated the flyback with sensor safe RTV. Replacement 6.3V CRT tests šÆ.
