From Facebook: “Fate brought us together. I believe it was at a Crucified show that Peter and Mike decided to start the band. Soon after Shane (bassist for Unashamed) gave Dave Kevin's phone number and Kevin met up with the band at the NIV/POD show in Oceanside. Dave and Garrett knew each other from playing in Change for the Better. American Holocaust our first demo was soon released. After playing all over Southern California and rocking socks off of many fans Dave and Impact went their separate ways. Josh was introduced to us by Scott Silleta of Plankeye. Having a great attitude and being a good guitarist he naturally fit the band. Within a few months we were asked to record for the Tooth and Nail Helpless Amongst Friends 2 compilation. While planning our first tour, Garrett realized he was going to leave the band and focus on his career as a firefighter. Although it was hard for all of us, we knew this was what was best for Garrett. Shortly after, Sean joined the band. Within weeks our second demo Striking Distance was released but due to personal conflicts with in the band we ended the band soon after. Everyone went on to develop many other music projects. On July 6th 2003 our old friend Josh Korkowski and later on known as tattoo artist “Frankie Four eyes” ended his own life. Rest in peace brother you will live forever in our hearts and memories. Never Forget.”

familiar with them, seems like theyre influenced by norma jean back in a day and their album recorded by Jamie King who also recorded with For Today and many others, noticed the shirt of the band member, are they possibly a band with a norma jean inspiration and passion and belief?
their music style blend between metalcore and nu metal elements, which leads them to be noticed in the musical mainstream realm.

7DaySun is a five piece Hard Rock band hailing from Louisville, KY. The group has quickly developed a reputation for their exciting high energy stage show and crowd interaction. Their goal is to spread positivity through song with well written music and a piece of mind.
A NEW BEGINNING EP was released via internet on July 5, 2005 and has received rave reviews. The EP, which was produced by Bobby Burns of Soulfly/X-Primer 55 fame, has such intensity that it will leave you wanting more! A NEW BEGINNING shows the bands diverse writing styles, from in your face songs like Under My Skin to power ballads such as Gift. Since its July 2005 release, it has sold over a thousand copies through word of mouth alone and helped gain a strong dedicated fan base. "Our fans are awesome! Plain and simple," says frontman Trey Landrum. "When you are in Atlanta (GA) or Springfield (MO) and kids are singing along, you know you are doing something right!"
7DaySun has proven themselves as being hard working and dedicated by performing with such acts as 3 Days Grace (Jive), ill Nino (Roadrunner), Hawthorne Heights (Victory), The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (Virgin), 36Crazyfists (Roadrunner),Head Automatica (Warner), Five.Bolt.Main (Rock Ridge Music), Rock Kills Kid (Reprise), Allele (Corporate Punishment), Trivium (Roadrunner), 3 Inches Of Blood (Roadrunner), Trigger Point (Corporate Punishment), Jani Lane (Formerly of WARRANT) and supporting such acts as PRESENCE (Curb/Warner Bros) and ALSTON (Repossession) on the road. "We are doing everything by ourselves," says drummer Jeremy McMahan. "We are out there making things happen for us, rather than sitting around crossing our fingers." In December of 2005, 7DaySun was one of thirteen groups selected from five hundred submissions to be featured on XM Satellite Radio and was published in The New Wave Of Amrican Heavy Metal by Rockdetector.
In 2009, the band released their one and only record "…and the Shadows Will Fall Behind You" and played live until 2010.
